8th September - Aberthaw
After a tremendous session for Barrelreef and Valleyboyo at aberthaw late
in August, the danglers were back loaded with peeler crabs and lead weights for another crack at the hounds.
This time Teggy and blackcat joined barrelreef for the trip.
We arrived early as the tide was still dropping to make sure we had a good
spot.
We waited a while for the tide to drop down to reveal the ledges before
we cast out.
Very quiet with no bites for a while then Blackcat had a good run but unfortunatly
it got snagged and the fish got away.
Next to have a run was Barrel but the fish dropped the bait before Barrel
had chance to strike.
No more bites after that but we did meet shane B and Wanner from the South Wales fish
fighters and had a quick chat.
Strange place to fish....Aberthaw, 1 week you can have the session of a lifetime the next absolute
pants?!!
Despite fishing hard and having some real good fresh peelers, the night ended in blanks for all!!
