October 27th - Cardiff foreshore
Teggy, Blackcat and Barrelreef made the long hike in the rain to cods corner
in the hope of the elusive codling.
With some very good black lug, frozen peelers, squid and mackerel and the
tide conditions in our favour hopes were high.
As we set up an angler to the right of us reeled in a codling about 2lb.
hoping the fish were going to bite the baits were sent out.
Despite fishing hard for 4 hours none of us had any bites, although the
same angler to our right did manage a codling of similar size to his 1st.
We fished on for another hour but with the weather worsening and the best
part of the tide long gone we called it a night and all trudged back wet and disappointed.
